Middle School Vocal Program (Grades 7-9)
AWARDS:
Multiple awards of $500 each are given annually
ELIGIBLE
STUDENTS:
Vocalists who attend Berks County Schools
and reside in Berks County
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
No audition is required, RMF’s Scholarship Committee
will determine recipients based upon applications &
recommendations.
Teachers should mention any financial need in their
recommendation
Awards for private piano study are also available for
vocalists
Deadline: May 2, 2008,
decisions are made by May 16, 2008
Ray & Carole Neag Junior
High School Vocal Music Program (Grades 7-9)
AWARDS:
Two awards of $500 each are given annually
ELIGIBLE
STUDENTS:
Students who are in grades 7-9 who take, or
plan to initiate, vocal music lessons
Students who attend Berks County Schools and reside
in Berks County
Students who have already received this scholarship are
encouraged to re-apply
ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION:
No audition is required, RMF’s Scholarship
Committee will determine recipients based upon applications
& recommendations.
Teachers should mention any financial need in their
recommendation
Deadline: May 2, 2008,
decisions are made by May 16, 2008
RMF
Non-Specific Student Fund (Grades 7-11)
Students should send a letter of intent
explaining how much is requested of RMF and for what
purpose, and identify all other financial resources that are
available to help satisfy the need. Do not
fill out one of the RMF application forms for any such
award. Include any brochures or other published material
that describe the activity or program.
AWARDS FOR:
Awards are available for private music
lessons, instrument upgrades, summer music camp and other
enrichment experiences
An undetermined number of awards are made each year through
RMF’s Scholarship Committee
ELIGIBLE STUDENTS:
Musicians in grades 7-11 who attend Berks
County Schools and reside in Berks County
Students must be currently involved in an instrumental or
vocal music program
Ineligible: Beginning music students and students who
are not currently involved in their school’s music program
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
No audition or fee is required, awards are based upon
applications and recommendations

The Wyomissing Foundation Brass Program (Grades 7-9)
Students should send a letter of intent
explaining how much is requested of RMF and for what
purpose, and identify all other financial resources that are
available to help satisfy the need. Do not
fill out one of the RMF application forms for any such
award. Include any brochures or other published material
that describe the activity or program.
AWARDS
FOR:
BRASS MUSICIANS ONLY
Awards are available for private music lessons, instrument
upgrades, summer music camp and other enrichment
experiences related to the performance on brass instruments
only
ELIGIBLE STUDENTS:
Musicians in grades 7-9 who attend Berks
County Schools and reside in Berks County
Students must participate in a school instrumental music
program on a brass instrument
Ineligible: Beginning music students and students who
are not currently involved in their school’s music program
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
No audition or fee is required, awards are based
upon applications and recommendations
Teachers should mention any
financial need in their recommendation |
